What is Vicks Inhaler Nasal Decongestant Stick?
Vicks Inhaler Nasal Decongestant Stick is a form of treatment that is intended to provide relief for the effects of allergic reactions and also infections such as a cold and the flu. This stick contains three active ingredients that help to provide relief for the effects of an infection. These are:
- Menthol
- Camphor
- Siberian Pine Needle Oil
Menthol is a decongestant that helps to unblock a congested nose and also reduce irritation in the mouth and throat. Camphor is another decongestant that can also work as a cough suppressant. Siberian Pine Needle Oil helps to remove germs from infected areas and relieve the illness.
What causes nasal congestion?
Nasal congestion is commonly caused by infections such as a cold or the flu. It can also be caused by allergies. Nasal congestion occurs when the nasal passages become irritated and the blood vessels in them become swollen because of the infection. This causes a blocked nose. Another thing to happen as a result is mucus that is produced causing a runny nose and blocking the back of the nose.
Who is this Vicks Inhaler suitable for?
This inhaler stick is suitable to be used adults and children aged 6 and over. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients that are contained in the stick. Insert the stick into each nostril and closing the other nostril before inhaling through the nose strongly. Use this stick on both nostrils as often as it is required.
