In today’s fast-paced world, taking care of your bone and joint health is more important than ever. Vitamin D3 Supplements 5000IU provide a convenient and effective way to ensure that your body receives the essential nutrients it needs for maintaining strong bones and overall joint function. Whether you are an active individual or simply looking to support your well-being, these supplements are designed to meet your needs.
The primary role of Vitamin D3, or cholecalciferol, is to aid in the absorption of calcium and phosphorus from your diet. This crucial nutrient helps strengthen your bones, reduce the risk of fractures, and support joint health. As we age or during periods of limited sun exposure, Vitamin D levels can decrease, making supplementation essential for maintaining optimal health. By integrating Vitamin D3 Supplements into your daily routine, you can boost your immune system and promote a healthy inflammation response.
Our Vitamin D3 Supplements are made with high-quality ingredients to ensure you receive the best possible health benefits. With 5000IU of pure Vitamin D3 in each serving, you can trust that you are giving your body the essential support it deserves. Formulated without artificial colors, preservatives, or common allergens, these supplements are suitable for most dietary needs. Each capsule is also easy to swallow – a perfect addition to your daily health regimen.
Taking care of your bones and joints has never been easier. With our Vitamin D3 Supplements, you’re one step closer to a healthier lifestyle. Don’t wait to enhance your well-being; make the wise choice and start your journey towards improved bone and joint health today!
Pharma Nord Bio-Vitamin D3 is generally well tolerated when taken as directed. However, high doses of vitamin D over time may cause:
Nausea or vomiting
Headaches
Fatigue
Constipation
Excessive thirst or urination
Elevated calcium levels (hypercalcemia), leading to kidney issues
Important: Do not exceed the recommended dose unless advised by a healthcare professional. Always consult your doctor if you are taking other supplements or medications, or if you have any medical conditions.
     1. What do nutrient units mean?
When it comes to nutrition, the amounts of vitamins and minerals we need are incredibly small — much smaller than what we usually measure in grams. That’s why we use different units to describe them:
Grams (g): Common for powders or larger quantities (a teaspoon is roughly 5g).
Milligrams (mg): 1,000mg = 1g.
Micrograms (mcg or µg): 1,000µg = 1mg.
International Units (IU): Used to measure the biological effect of certain vitamins like D, E, and A (not a weight, but a measure of potency).
Here’s how IU converts for some vitamins:
Vitamin D: 1 IU = 0.025 µg (D2 or D3)
Vitamin A: 1 IU = 0.3 µg (retinol)
Beta-carotene: 1 IU = 0.6 µg
Vitamin E: 1 IU = 0.67 mg (d-alpha-tocopherol).
2. What’s the difference between vitamin D2 and D3?
Both forms need to be activated in the body, but studies show vitamin D3 is more effective than D2. It raises vitamin D levels more efficiently and is stored in your body over 3x longer.*
*Heaney RP et al. J Clin Endocrinol Metab. 2010.
3. Where does your vitamin D come from?
We use high-quality vitamin D3 sourced from lanolin, which is derived from the wool of healthy sheep.
4. How long does one pack of Bio-Vitamin D3 last?
It depends on the strength and how many capsules you take each day:
400 IU:
120 capsules = up to 24 days (if taking 5 daily)
800 IU or 1,000 IU:
80 capsules = up to 16 days (if taking 5 daily)
5,000 IU:
40 capsules = 40 days (if taking 1 daily)
5. Why should people with sarcoidosis check with their doctor before taking vitamin D?
Vitamin D can raise calcium levels in the blood. If you have sarcoidosis, this may lead to a condition called hypercalcaemia, so it’s important to speak to a healthcare provider before starting a supplement.
