Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Lemon Sachets are an effective cold and flu remedy that can be made into a delicious lemon-flavoured drink by just adding hot water. This medicinal drink can ease your cold and flu symptoms, such as: headaches, congestion, fever, sore throat and aches and pains.
How to use this product
Always take Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Lemon Sachets exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / pharmacist has told you. To use, dissolve 1 sachet into a mug with hot water. Stir until dissolved. Dose may be repeated every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 4 sachets in a 24 hour period.
How does Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Lemon – 5 Sachets relieve cold and flu symptoms?
Lemsip Max Cold & Flu contains the everyday painkiller paracetamol that’s effective against aches and pains, headaches and fever. The other active ingredient is phenylephrine hydrochloride, a nasal decongestant. This reduces swelling in the passages of the nose, relieving nasal congestion and reducing the pressure which may cause a headache.

Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Lemon Sachets are suitable for children aged 12 years and over. If you’re looking for a cold and flu remedy for a child under the age of 12, you should speak to your GP or pharmacist for advice on alternative treatment options.
Is Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Lemon – 5 Sachets suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this product.
When should this product not be used?
Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Lemon Sachets may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have any of the following:
- A serious heart condition
- You have high blood pressure (hypertension)
- You are taking or have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI antidepressants) within 14 days
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have any of the following:
- Are taking any other medicines
- Have Raynaud’s syndrome (poor blood circulation which makes the fingers or toes pale and numb)
- Diabetes
- Have a problem with your liver, kidneys or you have non-cirrhotic liver disease
- You are a woman with a history of preeclampsia
- Have phenylketonuria
- Have an intolerance to some sugars
Are there any side effects?
Like all medicines, Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Lemon Sachets may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.

Storage information
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
